When attempting to sync using Control Center, you may see one of the following errors:
- Pre-sync checklist found issues and cannot continue. Ensure folders are fully synced and try syncing again.
-
Dropbox must be fully offline-synced before syncing content. There are 000 files not fully synced.
Watch a quick video on how to fix this problem.
When syncing content, the Control Center app checks that all content is actually downloaded and will alert you if content is not synced. This could be due to Dropbox still syncing, in which case you'll want to wait until it is completed and then use the app again; however, if everything appears to be synced already, the problem may be due to folders incorrectly being marked as "Online-only" that shouldn't be.
The easy fix is to make sure all folders under "Services" are marked "Available Offline", except for:
-
Archives
-
Ableton
To clarify, the following folders must always be fully offline synced:
-
Graphics
-
Software
The following folders can be selectively synced off of your device; however, if they are synced they must be offline synced:
-
Students
-
Playlists
If these folders all have the solid green check on them and you're still having troubling syncing, please let us know in the #help channel.
