Before you start:
- It is important to remove existing guitar gear from the stage.
Part 1: Power
- Plug the power cable into the 12v power input on the Quad Cortex
PLEASE NOTE: ONLY USE THE PROVIDED POWER CABLE
Part 2: Outputs
- Remove XLR’s from current DI boxes and insert them into “Out 1/L & Out 2/R”
PLEASE NOTE: Have audio engineer disable phantom power
Part 3: Inputs
- Pedalboard In
- If using a stereo pedalboard or modeler, utilize both input 1 & input 2 as shown below.
- Guitar In
- If using the Quad Cortex as a full pedalboard, utilize only input 1 as shown below.
Part 4: Presets
- Nothing
- Used if guitarist has their own full amp modeler or rig. Treat like a normal DI.
- AC30 Stereo
- Used if guitarist has their own pedalboard, but no amp modelers. Treat like amps or modeler (i.e. Iridium, Kemper, etc.)
- Song Preset_#
- Used if guitarist is using the Quad Cortex as their entire rig.
Part Z: FAQ / Troubleshooting
- If not getting signal?
- Make sure inputs and outputs are in the correct plugs. If using alternates, signal may not pass through the Quad Cortex properly.
